Technical Data
The Beacon is printed in tabloid format. The pages are 9.75 inches x 11.5 inches and are five columns which measure 2 1/8 inches in width. The pages are laid out using the InDesign program as well as Photoshop for images and advertisements.
The Beacon is distributed every Tuesday with the exception of school breaks and holidays and generally publishes 10-11 times per semester.
Deadlines
Deadline for advertisements is Thursday at noon prior to that Tuesday’s publication. Due to production schedules, there are no exceptions to that deadline.

There are five sections to the newspaper, all of which are supported by the photo and graphics department:

The Beacon publishes each issue on its interactive web site, which is supported by College Publisher as well as 1,200 newsstand print copies that are distributed across campus and in the Wilkes-Barre community.
